Ryan reworked my main panel and added a generator receptacle. He maintained communication with me through the whole process, showed up on time with the right parts, did a stellar job for a reasonable price and is a very nice guy. He’s doing some more work for me at a later date as my wife and I renovate our master bath. If you need an electrician this is your guy..... kudos to Westside Electrical!

Ryan is amazing! Came by today and did a very thorough check of my outlets to find the problem area and then fix it. He was quick, courteous, and very affordable. He explained what he doing and why he was doing it, followed by explaining repair options before doing any repairs. Will definitely call him again should another electrical issue arise.

I loved the fact he showed up early. Very professional. We needed something taken care of fairly quickly and he responded right away and came out the next day. (We still have yet to hear back from any of the other companies we left voicemails for). Will be using Ryan for other home projects down the road. I have recommended his company to others as well.

I replaced what I thought was a faulty GFI outlet and could not get it to reset. The GFI is connected to all garage and outside sockets so it was a huge hassle not having them. I didn't have a clue where to go from there so I called Westside Electrical. Ryan arrived on time (on a Saturday!) to troubleshoot the issue.
He was all over our house and tracked down the problem to a puncture in the wiring running through the attic (pictured). Evidently, it had been there since the house was built. A nail attaching a support structure had gone through and pierced the wire, but not entirely severing it. Over the next 20-years, with settling and minuet movements, the nail worked it's way through.
Once the issue was found, Ryan repaired the wiring. His truck was stocked with the exact item he needed for the job. Afterwards (of course) the breaker in the GFI reset and all the sockets worked. Yay!
What most impressed me about Westside Electrical, aside from the repair, is that I never felt like I was being manipulated. The level of trust I have for Ryan and his abilities are 10 out of 10. He's now my go to guy for everything electrical and I feel confident in his skills to refer him to people looking for an electrician.

Ryan was a night and day difference compared to the other companies I had out. I was installing a 220V outlet a foot away from the circuit breaker and was quoted almost a grand from another company who didn't bother to even look at the outlets or behind the circuit breaker panel. He showed up, looked at the existing wiring and realized it was already wired for 220 in the past. At that point he offered to let me finish the job myself and charge me nothing. The man is full of integrity, an unfortunately rare quality in service lately.
I instead opted to have him to the job, at which point he made the trip to Home Depot to get me a new outlet and picked up a new cord for my dryer because he noticed it wouldn't have been compatible given his outlet choice. Not only did he install the outlet quickly, but he replaced the cord while he was here too.
He has certainly earned my business for the rest of the time I live in Oak Harbor!
